Reporting infringement

Germini hosts websites on behalf of small-business customers. If you believe content on a site we host infringes your copyright, send a notice containing:

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material;
Your name, address, telephone number, and email;
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review complete notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the identified material.
We notify the customer whose site is affected and provide them a copy of the notice.
Repeat infringers' hosting may be terminated.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief in the error, and consent to the jurisdiction of your federal district court. We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) can make you liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
